“please” was a song that came from the need for affirmation. It asks for your significant other to look at you, to love you, to reassure your existence and your relationship with said person by asking the simple question “Can you say you love me, please?”

“trust” is a song about feeling hollow. I wrote this song when I felt empty in a crowded room. While everyone else was dancing and drinking I just stood there in the middle of it all feeling empty. This song expresses the hollowness you feel when you deal with depression and the way you let other people use you or move through you when you yourself are too empty to do anything.
